Ashley McBryde Will Celebrate Her 900th Day Of Sobriety On Thanksgiving

During a red carpet interview with People at the 2024 CMA Awards last Wednesday (November 20), Ashley McBryde opened up about her ongoing sobriety journey. “I was adding up — I want to celebrate on the 900th day of being sober,” the 41-year-old country star shared. “I was like, ‘That’s a milestone! You should celebrate that.’ I looked, and it’s Thanksgiving Day, so it’s got a holiday built in this time. That is quite a milestone, and it’s one of the most important changes I’ve ever made.” McBryde was nominated at the CMAs for Female Vocalist of the Year, and performed a touching tribute to the late country legend, Kris Kristofferson, by playing his 1970 hit, “Help Me Make It Through The Night” during the ceremony. Back in 2023, McBryde said that she attributes her sobriety to her being “the best I’ve felt, the best I’ve looked” in some time. (People)
