The War And Treaty Announce New Album, ‘Plus One,’ Share New Single, “Carried Away”

The War and Treaty took to Instagram on Friday (December 6) to announce that they are releasing a new album, Plus One, in early 2025. The husband-and-wife group’s fourth studio album will be released appropriately enough on Valentine’s Day (February 14), and they shared another single from the record, “Carried Away,” to promote the release. The 18-track record – which features previously released singles “Can I Get An Amen,” “Call You By Your Name,” “Stealing A Kiss,” and “Leads Me Home” – is the follow-up to the couple’s acclaimed 2023 album, Lover’s Game. “We see this record as an open invitation to be a part of what we’re doing—it came from wanting to be the hope we believe people need right now, as well as the hope that we need for ourselves,” Tanya Trotter said in a statement. “One of our main intentions with this album is to inspire people to share themselves with others, and open themselves up to the possibility of being loved,” shared Michael Trotter Jr. (Holler)
