During the red carpet festivities for the CMA Awards on Thursday (November 20), the country star shared just how much his new son means to him, while also praising his wife Hallie and how she is adjusting to her new role as a mom. The 31-year-old singer revealed that the highlight of his entire year was “certainly Major being born,” before the proud dad began showering his wife with compliments. “She’s the greatest mom in the world,” McCollum said. “We just had our first kid, Major, three and a half months ago, and he and I are learning at the same pace.
